Anker vs Spigen Charger: Which One Is A Better Buy?

A plug is a plug right? Well these days maybe not. When it comes to having the wall piece to charge your phone, most of us would probably take whatever we could get if we were low on battery. That said, if you have the time to analyze some plugs under $20, it gives us a change to do a quick analysis on two brands that have what appear to us to be two pretty good options. One from Anker and one from Spigen. Let's take a look at Anker first.

Anker 323 plug

The Anker 323 is a 33W USB charge that has two ports. One for USB-A and one for USB-C which is cool because that allows you to charge two devices at the same time. The feedback looks very good with a 4.8 start score on over 500 reviews. As for price we are looking at $18.99 for either the black or the white model.

Spigen PowerArc

The Spigen PowerArc also looks pretty solid. With a $19.99 price tag for black and $17.99 for white. It has a 4.7 start score on over 3700 reviews. So in the feedback arena the Spigen appears to take the edge. On the other hand there are a couple of things about Spigen that does fall a little short. One it only has one port and the only port is USB-C. So if you have a cable that has a USB-A side you are out of luck. It also is running only 20W compared to the Anker 33W. Now whether or not that would actually have any kind of impact on charging speed is anyones guess. Either way it was worth mentioning.

If we had to make the choice, we give the edge to the Anker. Since price and feedback are pretty much comparable, we have to look for tiebreakers where we can. Having an extra port to give the user a second option is a pretty good tiebreaker to have and that is why we give the nod to the Anker. You can get to it by using the link below.
