Are Wingo Capos Good? We Analyze A Couple Of Amazon Listings

Ok so you want to change the tune of your guitar without having to mess with the strings. Well a capo is one way of going about that. If you have been browsing around Amazon you have probably come across a brand called Wingo. Some people are asking if Wingo capos are good, so we decided to run one of our quick analysis blogs to see if we can get an answer for you. First let's take a look at the two listings we chose. We chose the best seller and the overall pick by Amazon.

First listing we chose is the Rosewood Wingo Capo for acoustic or electric guitars. Currently on Amazon for $7.68 and it has a 4.8 star score on over 39,000 ratings.

WINGO Guitar Capo for Acoustic and Electric Guitars - Rosewood Color with 5 Picks

The second listing is pretty much the same thing just in the color black. Why it's in a separate listing kinda boggles our mind too. Anyway it's currently on Amazon for $7.38 and it has a 4.7 star score on over 5,500 ratings.

WINGO Guitar Capo for Acoustic and Electric Guitars with 5 Picks for Free, Black.

What's really cool about both listings is you get 5 free guitar picks with it as well. What a deal! Anyway back to the original purpose of this blog. So the analysis on Review Meta for the Rosewood was very good, nearly all the ratings were seen as legit and with a score of 4.8 that is really good to see. The black capo was interesting, the Review Meta analysis held the score of 4.7 but it did see 40% of the ratings as suspect. For fun we ran it through Fakespot and it returned an A grade on the ratings, so we feel good about the 4.7 score on the black capo.

From there if we take a deeper look at the feedback we are seeing some good stuff. On the Rosewood listing we are seeing positive trait ratings on things like quality, performance, value, and ease of use. Only trait that was ranked neutral was the fit which we saw from a comment in particular that it was too short for guitars that use nylon strings. On the black capo we see positive feedback on traits like quality, ease of use, value, fit, and the strength it applies to the strings. Only thing we saw as neutral was the sound quality, some people did mention that it didn't work as well on acoustics as it did electrics.

From there though when we look at the other Amazon listings for Wingo capos we are seeing good scores across the board, hovering around 4.6 and 4.7. Based on what we are seeing, we feel good about saying that Wingo capos are pretty good.
