It's hard not to watch those two shows and not draw comparisons. Flying out in space with a crew of quirky personalities. Taking jobs as they come. All with the goal to just keep surviving as you try to hold onto whatever freedom you can. That said both properties though short lived have of course spawned off a bunch of stuff you can buy. So who has the better stuff under $20? While obviously it's all in the eye of the beholder, we'll take a look at some options and give our 2 cents.
POSTERS
When it comes to posters it can be a hard pick because of the difference in styles. One of our favorites is the "See The Verse" poster which is only $19.99. It has the firefly ship front an center along with the terms that remind us of the show.
On the other hand this standard anime poster has such a clean and simple look to it that it's hard for us to not give the edge to the crew of the Bebop. Not to mention it being only $11.99. We'll give the nod to Cowboy Bebop on this one.
KEYCHAINS
Let's say you want to carry the fandom on your keys everywhere you go. Of the keychains for Cowboy Bebop, the one we like the most is the one in the shape of Ein. What's cool about it is that if you are an anime fan and a dog lover it ticks off both boxes.
Of course it's hard to beat the keychain for the firefly fan. You can have your own little mini Serenity on your keys. 3D and made out of metal too. For the keychain battle, we'll give the edge to Firefly.
DECALS
For the decals, we decided to go with phrases instead of any specific image or character from the show. For firefly we chose "I Aim To Misbehave". It's a perfect decal to show off on your car to let people know that not only are you a fan of the show, but that you are willing to stir up some trouble if need be.
For Cowboy Bebop, no surprise here. We're going with the "see you space cowboy" sticker. It's so simple and so iconic to the show. It's the phrase that stirs up that feeling that we all have when we think about Cowboy Bebop and what made it so special. It's close, but we're going to give the nod to Cowboy Bebop in the decal race as well.
