Of all the brands and products we have analyzed, shower heads was for sure something that never really blipped on our radar. Until now. And the more we think about it, why wouldn't we analyze more shower head brands? After all a shower is (hopefully) something we all do everyday. So making sure you have a good shower head would be very important for the experience. We have come across a brand called Aquadance, and we decided to run a quick Amazon analysis to see what we can find out.
First sample we chose is the one with the most ratings. The Aquadance high pressure 6 setting head. Currently on Amazon for $17.99 and it has a 4.6 star score on over 74,000 ratings.
The second sample we chose is another one that has a lot of ratings. It's the brushed nickel spiral shower head. Currently on Amazon for $14.99 and it has a 4.6 star score on over 4,100 ratings.
Both listings passed the review meta analysis. So now that we have that covered let's see what else we can find from other listings. The brand does have a decent selection of items under $20. The scores across the board look pretty good. We're looking at 4.5 and 4.6 star scores consistently. So on surface the brand looks good.
As we look deeper we do have to note one thing. There are reports that the shower heads are prone to leakage. The reviews show that this issue is a bit hit or miss. Some people are saying it happens, while others are saying it works just fine in spite of the reports that the heads do tend to leak over time. The good news is that this does seem to be the only real issue that has even surfaced for the brand. The products to balance out have very good feedback on other important traits like quality, water pressure, and value.
Given everything we see, we feel good in hitting the brand with a good label. The scores aren't super high and the issue about leakage is what keeps the brand from being upgraded into the very good or excellent status. That said, since it does appear to do a good job overall and seems to hold that quality consistently over other products, we can give it a good label and feel comfortable with that.
