So apparently we've all been doing light wrong. Or at least that's what the brand Hooga thinks. The lights we currently use aren't good for our sleep patterns as they make us think that it's still daytime when in fact it's bed time. Well we'll leave the science stuff up to them. What we'll do is just a quick analysis of a couple of their products under $20 to see if they are a good brand.
First listing we chose is the Hooga book light. Currently on Amazon for $12.99 and it has a 4.7 star score on over 16,000 ratings.
The second listing we chose are the Hooga sleep light bulbs. Currently on Amazon for $18.99 for a 2 pack and they have a 4.5 star score on over 700 ratings.
We ran the two listings through Fakespot and both had A grades which is really good to see. When looking deeper into the feedback the book light has great feedback all around. All traits were rated in the positive on things like quality, performance, brightness and battery life. The bulbs though did have some drawbacks. They were ranked neutral in performance and negative in burning out. So that is something to keep in mind.
there are not many products under $20 for the brand, so we'll have to extrapolate with what we've got. When looking at the other products scores it actually surprises us that the book light might be the best thing they've got. Pretty much everything else in the light therapy zone have scores of 4.5 or less.
From what we can see the brand can be labeled as solid. That being said it does look like they may have some consistency issues, so we would recommend taking a look into the feedback and seeing how customers rate the traits that are most important to you before you make a purchase.
