Sunglasses. Now that's something we haven't had a chance to ever tackle. Well the good news is that there is some buzz around this brand called Kaliyadi. The sunglasses look nice, is the brand as good as it looks? Let's run a quick analysis on a couple of listings.
First listing we chose is the overall pick by Amazon which are the polarized sunglasses for men. They are currently on Amazon for $15.99 for a 3 pack (all black) and it has a 4.6 star score on over 2,900 ratings. Prices will vary based on the options you choose.
The second listing we chose is one that has a ton of ratings on it. They are the polarized sunglasses for men and women and semi-rimless for driving. Currently on Amazon for $17.99 (for the 2 pack shown) and it has a 4.5 star score on over 40,000 ratings. Price can vary based on the option you pick.
We ran the listings through Review Meta. The 3 pack passed with no issues. The second listing only had one issue, that there was a 30% rating suspicion level. This though tends to happen when you have a listing with lots of sub-listings. The website can't analyze it as well. So when that happens we like to see if the score remained the same, which it did so we feel good about the score we are seeing on the listing.
If we dig deeper on the feedback on the listings we are seeing some good stuff. For example on the 3 pack we are seeing a positive feedback rating on all the traits across the board. Rating well in comfort, appearance, and sun protection. For the 2 pack there is also good feedback on the important traits mentioned above. The only thing rated as neutral is the durability, which makes sense because these sunglasses are in the lower price range.
Also when looking at the rest of the Amazon listings we are seeing solid scores across the board with a range of 4.3-4.6 stars. Add in the fact that most of the listings have ample amount of ratings we feel good in giving this brand a good score. We like what we are seeing in the feedback, price, and selection.
