Many ways to listen to music these days. If not through your earbuds you are probably hearing it through a bluetooth speaker. We have recently come across a brand called Lenrue, which has a nice selection of speakers on Amazon that are under $20. The question of course is Lenrue a good brand? Well let's do our usual quick analysis and see what we can find out. First let's check our our samples.
First sample we chose is the Lenrue portable bluetooth speaker. Currently on Amazon for only $14.39 and it has a 4.3 star score on over 23,000 ratings.
The second sample we picked is a slightly bigger bluetooth speaker from the brand. Currently on Amazon for $14.11 and it has a 4.3 star score on over 9,400 ratings.
We ran the listings through Review Meta and Fakespot. Both listings appear to have solid feedback. While both websites did pick up a little bit of suspect feedback on both listings, none of it amounted to anything that changed the overall scores. So we feel ok that the feedback we are seeing on the listings can be trusted.
Now the one nice thing about Lenrue is that they have a large selection of speakers under $20. They come in all different shapes, colors, and styles. The only real downside that we can see is that across the board the feedback doesn't seem to crack 4.3 very often. Sure you'll have a 4.4, 4.5, or even a 4.6 here and there. The issue is those are few and far between and even when it does happen the ratings amount is low. We do tend to notice that as the ratings go higher (which tends to mean more sales) the scores tend to drop down closer to 4.3 or lower. Which signals to us that as more customers chime in, we get a clearer picture of the quality of the product.
All in all while we can't say that Lenrue is a high quality or very good brand, it does appear that for the prices they charge they are doing an ok job. The main theme that we see in the feedback is just that. That for the price, they are good speakers. For that we are fine with giving them a status of solid to good as an overall brand.
