Tactical gear tends to be expensive, so when you want to have some gear for hobby use you might be in the market for a brand that can get you tactical items for a more budget price. One of the brands that does this is a brand called Onetigris. Is it a good brand? Let's pull a couple of listings and see what we can find out.
First listing we chose is the tactical ID holder and credit card organizer. Currently on Amazon for $13.39 and it has a 4.7 star score on over 5,500 ratings.
The second listing we picked is the MOLLE pouch. Currently on Amazon for $15.19 and it has a 4.7 star score on over 1,000 ratings.
Review Meta passes both listings which is a good start. We did notice that there is a reddit thread talking about the brand and they don't have the best things to say about it. Although it is justified by people saying you get what you pay for. We decided to run a few more listings through RM to make sure the brand is solid and while the other listings did not pass as well, the scores were still consistent. When looking at the other products under $20 being offered by the brand we do see some good scores. The high scores though, the ones around 4.8 or 4.9 are on their patches. The rest of their tactical gear hovers around scores of 4.6 and 4.7.
Based on data the brand looks good. While there is that reddit post that doesn't have the best stuff to say about it, it is 4 years old so maybe the brand has gotten better over the recent years. While Chat GPT doesn't have a lot to say about the brand, it does mention that the brand is well regarded for providing affordable options that are durable and functional.
