On face Oontz does appear to be a very strong brand. They have many listings for their speakers on Amazon and they all seem to be off the charts in terms of the ratings that they have. Now since most of the speakers that Oontz sells are over $20 we have to go with the one that is under that so it qualifies for our site. That brings us to none other than Oontz Angle Solo. A compact bluetooth speaker that comes in a variety of colors and is only $19.99. So based on this listing what can we deduce?
First let's take a look at the feedback itself. We are seeing a 4.6 star score on over 28,000 ratings. You usually don't get into the 5 digit rating amount unless you have built up a good enough track record to justify it. Our instinct tells us that a brand like Oontz would of course make sure the ratings are legit. That said we'll run it through reviewmeta.com just to double check and make sure. Of the large amount of ratings, RM is estimating that about 7% of them might be bad. This is based on the fact that they are seeing a lot of repeated phrases. Usually repeated phrases could meant bots. In this case though, when dealing with a speaker it would be hard to not use some common phrases across the board. So we won't hold it against it that much.
We think it would be fair to say that Oontz is indeed a good brand. After reading through several reviews on Amazon it's clear that Oontz has made a good product that delivers more value than what they are charging, at least on the Angle solo.
