Ok so you want to clean some stuff. And you would prefer to do it without hard chemical cleaner. Well we got two brands that fit that definition. Puracy and Method. We decided to have Chat GPT run us an analysis on their all purposes cleaners. Before we get to that like usual let's take a look at the products in question.

First we have the Puracy everyday surface cleaner 16 oz spray bottle. Currently on Amazon for $6.99 and it has a 4.5 star score on over 10,000 ratings.

Next we have Method all purpose spray cleaner 28 oz spray bottle. Currently on Amazon for $4.18 and it has a 4.7 star score on over 4,800 ratings.

At first glance it looks like Method has the edge on price from two fronts. It is overall cheaper and you get more volume. It also has a better score and even though Puracy has double the ratings, once you get in the thousands having more ratings isn't exactly the biggest flex. Let's see what Chat GPT has to say...

"Method and Puracy are two popular brands that offer all-purpose cleaners. Here's a brief comparison between Method and Puracy all-purpose cleaners:

  • Ingredients:

  • Method: Method's all-purpose cleaners typically feature plant-based ingredients and are formulated without parabens, phthalates, triclosan, or phosphates. They often use naturally derived surfactants for cleaning.

  • Puracy: Puracy emphasizes the use of natural, plant-derived ingredients in their products. They are known for being hypoallergenic and free from harsh chemicals like sulfates, phosphates, and synthetic fragrances.

  • Effectiveness:

  • Both Method and Puracy cleaners are generally effective for everyday cleaning tasks. They can clean various surfaces, including countertops, appliances, floors, and more.

  • Method and Puracy cleaners are often praised for their ability to remove dirt, grease, and grime without leaving behind residue or strong chemical odors.

  • Scent:

  • Method: Method offers a variety of scents for their all-purpose cleaners, ranging from fresh and citrusy to herbal and floral.

  • Puracy: Puracy typically uses essential oils to add fragrance to their cleaners. They offer scents like citrus and mint, which are often well-received for their natural and refreshing aroma.

  • Packaging:

  • Method: Method is known for its sleek and colorful packaging. They often use recyclable materials and are committed to sustainable practices.

  • Puracy: Puracy also prioritizes eco-friendly packaging, using bottles that are recyclable and made from recycled materials whenever possible. They emphasize a minimalist and clean design aesthetic.

  • Price:

  • Pricing may vary depending on the specific product and retailer, but generally, both Method and Puracy cleaners are competitively priced within the natural cleaning product market.

  • Availability:

  • Both Method and Puracy products are widely available online and in many retail stores, making them accessible to consumers in various regions.

Ultimately, the choice between Method and Puracy all-purpose cleaners may come down to personal preference regarding scent, ingredients, packaging, and any specific cleaning needs or sensitivities. Some users may prefer Method for its variety of scents and colorful packaging, while others may opt for Puracy for its focus on natural ingredients and hypoallergenic formulas. It's always a good idea to read reviews and possibly try samples to see which cleaner works best for your specific cleaning tasks and preferences."

Welp guess there isn't that much difference between the two after all. Both are cheap anyway so you can't really go wrong with either option. If though budget it such an issue that a few bucks matters than Method would be the brand you want to go with.
