Ok so you are a big fan of everyday carry and you need help with organize all the stuff that you have on your person. Well that is where these tool pouches come into play. They are designed to hold all your stuff in as efficient way as possible. We have come across a brand that has a few different models. One thing that people seem to be asking about is the difference between the VE1 and the VE3. There doesn't seem to be huge differences but let's dive in a bit deeper just for fun.
First we have Viperade VE1 pocket organizer. Currently on Amazon for only $14.39 for the black version. Other colors differ in price. Only one other is below $20 and that is the Tan. It also has a 4.5 star score on over 1,600 ratings.
Next we have the Viperade VE3 tool pouch. Same deal as the VE1, only black and tan are under $20. This one is going for $17.99 currently and it has a 4.6 star score on over 1,015 ratings.
Both pouches have similar quality and ratings. The main difference is price, the VE1 is $14.39 at its cheapest. The other versions are all pretty much the same price relative to each other. Why the black version of the VE1 is so special is anyones guess. That said the VE3 is only more expensive by about $3 and some change so not the biggest jump in the world.
As for differences in performance we really can't tell much difference. The VE1 is a little bit wider and does appear to have an extra slot in the front. This could make a difference depending on what you are carrying as something that is a bit wider might need the wider spots of the VE3 compared to the extra narrower spot of the VE1. Other than that they seem to handle items the same.
When digging deeper into the feedback we also don't see too much difference. They both score positive in traits like quality, value, and sturdiness/durability. Where there is a difference is that the VE1 rated positive in size, while the VE3 rated neutral in it. With some customers remarking that it ended up feeling smaller than they expected it to be. Although in fairness the VE1 did rate neutral in fit with customers remarking that for some of their items it felt a bit too tight in the pouch slots.
In the end we don't think you could go wrong with either option. It all just depends on what you carry. While one may be better tailored than the other for certain things, we think you could probably make it work in either one. That said if you are budget conscious the VE1 does have an edge in its price for the black model. Other than that, we pretty much are seeing a dead heat.
